Quick Start Guide

Welcome to EZCV! Creating your first resume is quick and easy.

Signing In

You can sign in using either:

  • Google OAuth: Quick and secure sign-in with your Google account
  • Magic Link: Passwordless login — enter your email and we'll send you a secure link to access your account

Creating Your First CV

  1. Dashboard: Navigate to your Dashboard after signing in.
  2. Create: Click the "Create New CV" button.
  3. Editor: You will be taken immediately to the editor with our "Modern" template selected by default.
  4. Details: Fill in your personal details, work experience, education, and skills.

The Split-View Editor

The editor features a split layout:

  • Left/Top Panel: Edit your CV content in organized form fields
  • Right/Bottom Panel: Live preview of your CV as it will appear with your chosen template.

Moving Around the Preview

Use the Move Tool (hand icon) in the preview toolbar to drag your CV around for easier navigation. You can also use the Zoom controls to adjust the preview size.

Changing Templates

If you'd like to try a different look, you can change your template anytime by clicking "Change Template" in the editor's "More Actions" menu or by using the Command Palette (Cmd+K).

Auto-saving

Everything you type is automatically saved. You'll see a small indicator in the top right corner of the editor confirming that your changes are safely stored in the cloud.
